If you use GUIminer or poclbm and have problem with connection, you should update poclbm file to the latest version from github.

Payments enabled for reviewed accounts and accounts with old locked payment address.
If you do not use payment address lock you have 2 options:
1) start use payment lock (only previously used addresses allowed), and request account activation by email
2) request account verification process by email.
